The proposal for a 30-million dollar residential development at the south end of Sydney Street goes before Common Council for a public hearing on April 19th. The Landmark would be a 9 storey – 180 unit apartment building at 300 Sydney Street across from Tin Can Beach.
The proposed changes will see zoning for the lot changed from Major Community Facility to High Rise Residential and amending of the Zoning By-Law to increase the maximum building height from 14 metres to approximately 39.3 metres.
Details on the zoning changes can be obtained by contacting the Common Clerk’s office at commoncleark@saintjohn.ca
