Public Health is reporting no new cases of COVID confirmed in the province today. Two people have been listed as recovered since yesterday.
The number of active cases now stands at 7 – none in the Saint John region. There are four active cases in the Moncton region while the other 3 are in the Fredericton region. Two people remain in hospital. Forty-six people have died as a result of COVID complications since the beginning of the pandemic began 17 months ago.
On the vaccination front – 47.5% of New Brunswickers over 12 have received both doses of a COVID vaccine while 79.1% have received a first dose. Appointments continue to be available through Horizon and Vitalite Health Networks as well as participating pharmacies.
