Post tropical storm Elsa has left behind a new rainfall record for July 09th. The storm dumped 87.3 mm on the Saint John region as it passed through the area breaking the record of 72.6 mm of rain set in 1957.
So far there are no reports of any significant damage or flooding. The forecast for today is a mix of clouds and sun with a high in the low twenties feeling like 27 with the humidity.
