Elections NB says there are some options available to vote in the May 10th elections for people in self-isolation situations. But – Chief Electoral Officer Kim Poffenroth warns those options are beginning to decrease with voting day one week away.
Options for those in self-isolation include voting by mail where time permits – curb side voting – and other forms of contactless voting. Poffenroth says “Our municipal returning officers will gladly work with these individuals to determine the best way to arrange for them to vote, based on their current situation.”
If you are in isolation – you should contact your local returning office to discuss options available to cast your ballot.
