Mayoral candidate Mel Vincent thinks civic workers are demoralized – and – he thinks it’s in the city’s best interests to work to boost morale.
In an interview with newsysj.ca – Vincent says he wants to open the line of communication with the unions to work together for the betterment of the city.
Vincent also believes the city is on the right track with its 10 year financial plan. He wants to grow the population and tax base – and – return to Saint John to being the largest city in the province.
Vincent also says he is committed to serving a full 4 year term as Mayor. He says he has one maybe 2 terms in him and no desire to jump to provincial for federal politics at this point in his life.
