The North End’s very own singing mechanic will hit the “big time” tomorrow night. Danny Joyce will perform the national anthem at the opening of the Calgary/Montreal game being televised on Sportsnet East.
Joyce has performed the anthem at TD Station a number of times over the years. And it has always been his dream to sing the national anthem at a N-H-L hockey game. And despite battling cancer and finishing up his treatment – and – now he is getting his wish.
Saint John – Rothesay MP Wayne Long says Joyce’s performance was recorded at TD Station and it will be played prior to the start of the game tomorrow night.
