On the COVID front – the Saint John and Fredericton River Valley regions have returned to the Orange Level of recovery. The change took place last night at 11:59.
Public Health made the move after case numbers stabilized over the last 7-days since going into the RED Level. Here in the Saint John region we have 37-active cases while the Fredericton Zone has 30-active cases.
The Moncton region remains at the RED Level with 95-active cases while the Edmundston region is in week one of a minimum 14-day stay in LOCKDOWN. That region has been a hotspot of new cases and is currently dealing with 153-active cases.
The move loosens some restrictions including the re-opening of restaurants to allow dining in – gyms – and spas. It also means Saint John Transit buses are back to 50-percent passenger capacity from just 9-passengers per bus and masks remain mandatory. A complete list is below.
