Spring arrived Saturday morning complete with sunshine and warmer temperatures extending into the beginning of this week. Parks and walking trails like those in Rockwood Park were busy with people of all ages getting fresh air and exercise.

Early spring bulbs are pushing through the warming earth with some already in bloom. And young sidewalk chalk artists have been out taking advantage of the dry weather to brighten one section of sidewalk along Queen Street with Easter like colours.
