Traffic on a portion of Loch Lomond Road ground to a halt for a period this morning thanks to a single vehicle crash by the Airport General Store. Police say the call came in shortly after 8 as power lines were down in the area.

The driver was shaken but given a “thumbs up” after being checked by paramedics at the scene. The road was closed for over an hour. Saint John Energy says approximately 264 customers were affected by the crash related outage with power restored about two hours later.
