A Special Weather Statement has been issued for our area as a significant storm system heads in our direction. Here in southern New Brunswick – the system will bring r25mm or more of rain beginning tomorrow and continuing into Saturday. A period of freezing rain is expected overnight Friday and we could see a dusting of snow or flurries on Saturday. Temperatures over the weekend will be a little below normal but warming up again by Monday.
Northern areas of the province will see the rain change to snow with between 10 and 20cms expected. Those areas of the province will also experience a period of freezing rain during the change from rain to snow.
