Ability NB Executive Director – Haley Flaro – says those with disabilities represent an untapped labour market pool. In a presentation to Common Council – Flaro says with proper accommodations and support people up to 21,000 people with a disability could be brought into the labour force. Flaro outlined some of the positives in the city when it comes to people with mobility issues and how a number of our trails could be promoted to cruise visitors with mobility issues.
