
As of today – “Special Ballots” for the May 10th elections are now available at returning offices around the province with the exception of Edmundston. With the availability of the ballots you can now vote at the returning office and avoid line-ups or delays during the advance polls and on election day.
And Chief Electoral Officer – Kim Poffenroth – says the returning offices will now start processing requests received so far for mail-in ballots. she says voters can continue to apply for a vote by mail package either online or by downloading an application and submitting it to the local returning office.
All mail-in ballots must be dropped off at the returning office from where they were issued before 8pm on election day – May 10th. The advance polls will be open May 01st and 03rd.
