It’s another cold start to the day with the feels like temperature in the minus 21 range – and – the forecast is adding another touch of winter like weather. Snow is expected to begin falling around noon today and continue into this evening. We can expect up to 10-cms of snow before the storm passes. Temperatures won’t be moderating much with the feels like high today in the minus 13 range. Be prepared for winter driving conditions on the way home from work this afternoon and if you are planning to head out to do some Christmas shopping later.
For those hoping for a white Christmas – chances are not great at this point. The long range forecast shows temperatures moderating with rain in the forecast early next week. And the outlook for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the moment is spring like with temperatures on the plus side of zero and more rain.
