Public Health is reporting 7 new cases of COVID confirmed in the province since yesterday. Two cases are in the Moncton region and both are contacts of previously confirmed cases. Two cases are in the Fredericton region and both are contacts of previously confirmed cases. There are 2 new cases in the Bathurst region with one travel related while the other is a contact of a previously confirmed case. And there is one case in the Miramichi region which is under investigation.
Public Health also says 6 people have recovered since yesterday and we now have 117 active cases in the province including 20 here in the Saint John region. Seven people are in hospital – 6 here in New Brunswick including 2 in intensive care while 1 is in an intensive care unit out of province. The COVID death toll stands at 43.
