A milestone has been reached in the provincial COVID vaccination program. The latest numbers from Public Health show 50.7% of the population has received at least one dose of COVID vaccine. Four of the 7 provincial Health Zones have more than 50% of their population vaccinated with at least one dose of vaccine.
Chief Medical Officer of Health – Dr Jennifer Russell – has stated we are on track to have all willing New Brunswickers with at least one dose of the vaccine by July 01st with second doses by September.
Public Health also notes that as of today – New Brunswick leads the Maritimes with the highest percentage of its population vaccinated.
