Another telephone scam is making the rounds – and – is active in the Ken-Valley at the moment.
Kennebecasis Regional Police say a number of residents have received a call from a private number. The caller claims to be a member of the RCMP and they have a loved one under arrest. The caller says payment must be made to release them from custody.
Kennebecasis Police say don’t engage with the caller because the police will never call asking for money in a situation like this. You can find more information about scams and online fraud here.
