Some good news for those living on and – or travelling back and forth to the Kingston Peninsula area – the Peninsula Princess is scheduled to resume service this weekend.
Kings Centre M-L-A and Speaker of the Legislature – Bill Oliver – tells newsysj.ca he has been informed by the Department of Transportation all servicing and checks have been completed and the ferry will begin service tomorrow morning at 8.
The ferry made its last run for the winter at midnight on New Year’s Eve. It runs between Millidgeville and Summerville.
