The provincial government has administered 200,587 doses of the COVID vaccines since the vaccination program began last December. The latest numbers from Public Health show 181,775 people or 27.5% of the eligible population over the age of 16 have received at least one dose of COVID vaccine.

As of yesterday – the province has received 255,205 doses of the Pfizer – Moderna – and AstraZeneca vaccines from the federal government.

Clinics are underway this week to provide the second dose of vaccines at long term care facilities. Public Health estimates 4900 second doses will be administered at 339 facilities.
