Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID confirmed since yesterday. The case involves a person in their fifties in the Moncton region and is under investigation.
The number of active cases is pegged at 26 including 3 here in the Saint John region. Four people remain in hospital with one of them in intensive care. The COVID related death toll remains at 45.
Following a busy weekend of vaccination clinics – the province is reporting 30.2 percent of New Brunswickers over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated. The number of first doses of a COVID vaccine continues to slowly increase – 77.5 percent of “eligible” New Brunswickers have received their first dose.
