Nominations for the May municipal – district education councils – and regional health authority boards elections are now being accepted by Elections NB with the opening of returning offices today.
Due to COVID-19 protocols – candidates wanting to meet with their local returning officer must call to make an appointment. Nomination papers can be submitted by email or fax.
The deadline for filing nomination papers is Friday – April 09th at 2pm. But – Chief Electoral Officer Kim Poffenroth is encouraging candidates to file their nomination papers as soon as possible.
