Public Health is setting up a mass testing clinic for COVID in the Miramichi region. The move is being made because of a sudden flurry of confirmed cases in the region including the possibility of a variant being present.
The testing will be conducted over two days – tomorrow and Friday between 11am and 7pm in the gym of the Dr Losier Middle School. The tests will be done on a first come – first served basis. Asymptomatic people do not need to self isolate while awaiting the results unless advised differently by Public Health.
Those with symptoms are asked to call Tele-Care at 8-1-1 or request it online to get an appointment for testing.
