A quiet day on the COVID case count front – Public Health is reporting just two new cases since yesterday. Both cases are in the Edmundston region. Twelve people have been listed as recovered since yesterday with the number of active cases now sitting at 150 including 4 here in the Saint John region. We have now recorded 1400 cases of COVID with 1227 people recovering since the pandemic began last March.
Six people remain in hospital with two of them in intensive care. Twenty-two COVID related deaths have been recorded.
