A “Freezing Rain Warning” has been issued for the Saint John region as winter gets set to throw another messy blast in our direction. The forecast says snow will begin overnight with up to 10 cms expected before the change to ice pellets tomorrow morning then to freezing rain tomorrow afternoon and ending by Wednesday morning.

The ice buildup will cause extremely slippery conditions on roads – streets – and sidewalks. It will also mean ice encrusted trees and tree limbs that could cause issues for power and telecommunications lines especially with gusty northeasterly winds.
