People in the greater Saint John area were busy over the weekend raising money for two causes. Braaaap for the Boobs is an annual fund raiser on the Kingston Peninsula in support of the Erin Appleby Breast Health Fund. This year the snowmobile squad raised just over $7000 – that’s $2000 more than last year’s total.
And Saturday also marked the annual Coldest Night of the Year fund raiser to help those forced to live on the streets. The Saint John leg of the national movement raised over $66,000 surpassing this year’s goal of $50,000.
