The first 2400-doses of the Moderna COVID vaccine are due to arrive in the province today. Health Department spokesperson – Shawn Berry – says Public Health is working with partner agencies such as Ambulance New Brunswick and the Department of Social Development to finalize plans to administer the first 1200-doses to long term care residents at nursing homes and adult residential facilities around the province.

Berry tells newsysj.ca they anticipate administering the vaccine during the first week of January. The remaining 1200-doses will be held to be given as their second dose in 28-days.
