Public Health is reporting just 3 new confirmed cases of COVID in the province today. One case is here in the Saint John region and is travel related. One is in the Fredericton River Valley region and is also travel related. The other is in the Edmundston region is linked to a previously confirmed case.
Since yesterday – 9 people have been listed as recovered with the number of active cases at 162 including 12 here in the Saint John region. Eighteen people are in hospital with 12 of them in intensive care. The COVID related death toll remains at 30 since the pandemic was declared over a year ago.
Meantime – Public Health reports the 7 cases reported in the Moncton region yesterday are connected and travel related.
