Another day of double digit COVID cases in the province. Public Health is reporting 13 new cases since yesterday – all in the Edmundston region which went into the restrictive RED Level last night.
Two cases are people 19 and under who are both contacts of a previous case – one person in their twenties whose case is under investigation – four people in their forties with two contacts of a previous case while one is travel related and the other is under. investigation – one in their fifties who is a contact of a previous case – three in their sixties with one a contact of a previous case while the other two are under investigation – and two in their seventies with both of those cases under investigation.
Three people have been deemed recovered since yesterday. The number of active cases is now 99 including 6 here in the Saint John region – and – 74 in the Edmundston region. Four people are now in hospital while the COVID related death toll remains at 30.
