The “Rainfall Warning” is ended for the greater Saint John region as the large storm system moves out of the area. The storm fell short on the predicted up to 50 mm of rain. Total rainfall for Saint John amounted to 28.8 mm and there are no reports of flooding or other issues at this time.

The winds have shifted from a southerly direction to a northerly direction and that means colder air will move over our region. Wind gusts are expected to reach 50 km/h giving a “feels like” temperature this morning in the minus 8 range. It will continue to be breezy into the overnight hours giving a “fees like” temperature in the early morning hours in the minus 10 range. It will continue to be windy and chilly tomorrow – but – Monday into Wednesday should see temperatures feeling more Spring like in the final days of March.
