Saint John Police say an autopsy is being conducted to help identify a body found in the Martinon area over the weekend.
In a very brief news release – police say the body – “believed to be that of a female” was discovered by a hiker just after 3:30 on Saturday.
Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP told newsysj.ca this morning they were aware of a body being recovered – but – said the discovery was in Saint John Police territory and referred us to the city police. They have been looking for a missing 31 year old woman since early February. A number of searches and appeals – including a volunteer based search of areas in the town 3 weeks ago – have failed to turn up any trace of Andrea Limkilde.
