The “Rainfall Warning” for the Saint John region has ended. Yesterday’s rainfall lived up to expectations – we were forecast to receive up to 60 mm of rain. Total rainfall recorded was 50.5 mm. So far – no reports of flooding have been received.
The good news is we are getting a bit of a break from the wet weather experienced this week. We should see a mix of sun and clouds today and sunshine tomorrow. Temperatures will be on the cool side with a high today and tomorrow near 5. But northerly winds will make it feel cooler both days and overnight the “feels like” temperature will be around minus 9.
Saturday night will be chilly for the Easter bunny making the rounds with clouds moving in on Easter Sunday and the rain returns on Monday.
