Public Health is reporting 15 new cases of COVID confirmed today including 3 here in the Saint John region. Two of the cases here are travel related while the other is under investigation.
There are 3 new cases in the Fredericton region with one a travel related case – one is a contact of a previously confirmed case – and the other is under investigation. There are 4 new cases in the Bathurst region and all are travel related while there are 3 new cases in the Miramichi region with two travel related while the other is under investigation. There is one new case each in the Moncton and Edmundston regions. The Moncton case is travel related while the Edmundston case is a contact of a previously confirmed case.
Public Health says 6 people have recovered since yesterday. The number of active cases now sits at 127 including 18 here in the Saint John region. Four people are in hospital including 2 in intensive care. The COVID death toll remains at 36.
