It’s a little easier and more convenient now to write your test for your motorcycle – moped – and scooter licence. Service New Brunswick is now offering the test online. New riders will still have to complete a motorcycle safety course as part of the graduated licence system.
To complete the online test you need a desktop or laptop with a web cam. Phones and tablets are not compatible. In person testing is still available at Service New Brunswick centres.
Once you pass the test – you can visit a Service New Brunswick centre (except Campobello) after 4 business days to complete the process which includes vision screening – proof of identity and residency – proof of completion of a motorcycle safety course – having a photo taken – and paying for your new driver’s licence.
