Public Health is reporting 9 new cases of COVID have been confirmed since yesterday. Today’s total includes 2 travel related cases of New Brunswickers who are isolating out of province.
There are 2 cases in the Moncton region with one a contact of a previously confirmed case while the other is an out of province travel case. There are 5 cases in the Bathurst region with 3 travel related including one out of province – one is a contact of a previously confirmed case – and the other is under investigation.
There are 2 cases in the Miramichi region and both are contacts of previously confirmed cases.
Public Health says 22 people have been listed as recovered since yesterday. The number of active cases is now 123. Seven people are in hospital in New Brunswick including 3 in intensive care while 4 people are in hospital out of province. The COVID death toll remains at 41.
