The provincial COVID vaccination program is expanding to include those 40 years of age or over. You can book an appointment for clinics offered by the Horizon or Vitalite Health Networks here or through a participating pharmacy here. Information for those 12 years of age and older with complex medical conditions or chronic conditions can check their eligibility for a COVID vaccination here.

Public Health is reporting 11 new cases today – 5 actually in New Brunswick while 6 are in isolation outside of the province. One new cases is being reported in the Saint John region and is a contact of a previously confirmed case. Three new cases have been confirmed in the Moncton region – two are contacts of previous cases while the other is an out of province travel case. The Bathurst region has 3 new cases – all are out of province travel cases. And the Fredericton River Valley – Edmundston – Campbellton – and Miramichi regions are all reporting 1 new case each.

There are 149 active cases including 24 in the Saint John region while 11 people are in hospital – 7 here in New Brunswick with two in intensive care. Four people are in hospital out of province. The COVID death toll stands at 41.

Meantime – Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr Jennifer Russell says the Edmundston – Grand Falls region will return to the Yellow Level of recovery joining the rest of the province at midnight tonight. The region has been in the Orange Level after going through a period of LOCKDOWN and the Red Level to deal with a significant COVID outbreak that began earlier this year.
