A sad update from Shannex in Millidgeville today – the company says two residents at its Lily Court wing who had tested for positive for COVID have passed away.
One resident passed way on Thursday – the other on Friday. The company says it understands delay in confirming the deaths can lead to confusion – but – it says it’s a complicated situation because they are working with multiple health care partners.
On a positive note – Shannex says it has received results from testing conducted on Thursday at its Tucker Hall wing – and – no new cases were confirmed. The number of active cases at Tucker Hall now consists of two residents and three employees. More testing will be carried out this coming week.
