Two men are due in court in August after being arrested in a parking lot on Consumers Drive late yesterday morning. The RCMP moved in on the pair as part of an ongoing police operation across the province.
The 37 year old man from Saint John and 33 year old man from Long Point were searched along with their vehicle. The Mounties seized a substance they believe is cocaine and a large sum of cash.
A search warrant was obtained for a home on the Kiersteadville Road on the Kingston Peninsula where a rifle – ammunition – money – and a quantity of an unknown substance were seized.
