Public Health is reporting 3 new cases of COVID in the Saint John region today. Two are contacts of previously confirmed cases while the other is travel related.
Eight other new cases are being reported today – 5 in the Fredericton River Valley region – all contacts of previously confirmed cases. There are 2 new cases in the Edmundston region which are under investigation and one new case in the Bathurst region. That person is out of province and the case is listed as travel related.
Public Health says 8 people have recovered since yesterday while the number of active cases is now 118 including 21 here in the Saint John region. Ten people are in hospital – six here in New Brunswick with 2 of them in intensive care. Four people are in hospital out of province with one in intensive care. The COVID related death toll remains at 41.
