Students at the Woodlawn School on Westmorland Road have been dismissed for the day after the school was placed in hold and secure earlier today.
The situation was triggered by a threat against a staff member. The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit is handling the investigation into the threat. Officials say students were safe and school activities continued as normal.
