The Chief Medical Officer of Health says the Saint John region is moving in the right direction – but – we remain in the Orange Level with its tougher restrictions including the wearing of masks indoors and outdoors.

During a weekend news conference announcing the Moncton and Fredericton Central zones moving back to Yellow – Dr Jennifer Russell indicated the Saint John region would be re-assessed yesterday. And while speaking on a Facebook Live video conference today – Russell would only say we are moving in the right direction:

The Saint John region has been in the Orange Level since mid-November. Premier Blaine Higgs has said he is hoping the Saint John region will be back to Yellow by the end of this week.
