Saint John Police say a teen is facing charges of uttering threats and “failure to comply” in connection with an incident at the former Woodlawn School last Friday.
A “hold and secure” procedure was implemented at the Compass Education Support Program after a teacher was threatened mid-morning on Friday.
City police assisted staff with the “hold and secure” order to ensure the safety of staff and students. Students were dismissed early in that afternoon. No one was hurt.
The Major Crime Unit began an investigation and yesterday – the teen surrendered to police yesterday with a court appearance set for March.
