
A “Rainfall Warning” has been issued for Saint John and surrounding areas as a major Spring storm moves into the area. Between 25 and 50 mms of rain is expected.
The day begins with drizzle or showers with rain – at times heavy – moving in by late morning.
There is a risk of freezing rain overnight changing to snow overnight and ending tomorrow morning with about 2 cms expected. The wind will be out of the south gusting to 40 km/h changing to northerly gusting to 50 overnight giving a “feels like” temperature of minus 9 by tomorrow morning.
The rest of the weekend is forecast to bring a chance of flurries and chilly temperatures with rain or snow predicted for Sunday night into Monday.
