A special Weather Statement has been issued for our region. A slow moving storm system is expected to move into the province tomorrow night with snow. Up to 15 cms of snow is possible overnight.
That snow is expected to change to ice pellets and then freezing rain over our area on Tuesday morning as we begin our week following the Family Day holiday weekend. The freezing rain is expected to last into the afternoon and possibly the evening before the storm passes.
It will be just a snow event for northern areas of the province with up to 20 cms expected in those regions. The system is still in the early stages of development and some projections may change. We will provide updates as they become available.
