The Major Crime Unit of the Saint John Police Force wants to speak with anyone who was in the area of Crown and Broad Streets around 7:45 this morning – or – who may have video surveillance cameras in that area.
Police say a man riding his bicycle was struck by a vehicle that left the scene and the victim on the road injured. He was transported to the Regional Hospital – there is no word on the extent of his injuries.
The vehicle that fled the scene is light in colour with possible damage to the front end and / or passenger side. Major Crime is asking anyone with information – or – the driver or occupants of the vehicle to contact Saint John Police at 506.648.3333.
