Public Health says there are 9 new COVID cases in the province today. Two of those cases are here in the Saint John region and both are travel related. One of those people is currently out of province.

Four new cases have been confirmed in the Fredericton region and all are contacts of previously confirmed cases. The Bathurst region is home to 2 new cases both travel related. And the Moncton region is reporting one new case which is a contact of a previously confirmed case.

Three people have been listed as recovered since yesterday and the number of active cases is now 139 including 17 in the Saint John region. Seven people are in hospital – 6 here in New Brunswick including 2 in intensive care while one person is in hospital in intensive care out of province. The COVID death toll remains at 43.
