Saint John Police say they are investigating the discovery of a body on Victoria Street yesterday. In a brief news release – Communications Manager Jim Hennessy says an autopsy will be conducted.
newsysj.ca sought clarification as to the location and sex of the body – but – Hennessy would only refer us back to the original 3 line news release.
As we reported yesterday – there was a heavy police presence at an apartment building on Victoria Street. The Forensics Unit arrived to conduct an investigation of the scene.
