Public Health confirms 2 new cases of COVID today. One case is in the Fredericton River Valley region while the other is in the Bathurst region. Both are under investigation.
Public Health also reports 15 people listed as recovered since yesterday with the number of active cases now at 136 including 20 here in the Saint John region. Eleven people are in hospital – 7 here in New Brunswick including 3 in intensive care – and 4 in hospitals out of province. The COVID death toll remains at 41.
COVID vaccines are now available to those 40 and over either through clinics offered by the Horizon or Vitalite Health Networks or through participating pharmacies. In both cases appointments must be booked for your vaccination. Anyone 12 and over with complex or 2 or more chronic medical conditions are also eligible for a COVID vaccination.
