Public Health has confirmed one new case of COVID today in the Bathurst region. It is a person in their forties and the case is travel related.
Public Health says 6 people have recovered since yesterday with the number of active cases now at 33 including 3 here in the Saint John region. Four people are in hospital including one in intensive care.
On the vaccination front – the province says more than 76,000 does of COVID vaccine were administered this week – the highest 7 day rolling average since the vaccination program began. As of today – 27.4 percent of “eligible” New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated while 77.2 percent have received their first dose of vaccine.
