The Health Department has opened a Nurse Practitioner Clinic here in the city. The clinic will help remove people from the waiting list for a primary care provider or family doctor.
Six nurse practitioners are working in the clinic with the group building their patient lists from Patient Connect NB. Patients are being drawn from that list only – you cannot call or drop into the centre requesting to be accepted as a patient.
The new clinic is being operated by the Horizon Health Network.
