Public Health is reporting no new confirmed cases of COVID in the province today. However – the actual numbers of cases is being revised thanks to two cases previously reported in the Saint John region actually being accounted for in another province. Two other cases – one in Moncton and one in Bathurst turned out to be false positive results. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the false positive readings.

So that means the number of confirmed cases in the province now stands at 574 with 520-recovering. The number of active cases in the province now sits at 45 with three people in hospital – one in intensive care. The virus has claimed eight New Brunswickers since mid-March.
