The recently revamped greater Saint John economic development agency has a new name. At last night’s Common Council meeting – City Manager John Collin played a video unveiling the name and logo for the new regional economic development agency – Envision Saint John – The Regional Growth Agency.
The agency was launched January 01st and combines economic development – people attraction – infrastructure development – and tourism under one roof. The agency is supported by Saint John – Grand Bay Westfield – Rothesay – Quispamsis – Hampton – and St Martin’s.
Paulette Hicks was recently named the agency’s first C-E-O. She previously held the title of General Manager of the Delta Hotel here in the city. She also served as President of the Saint John Hotel Association and served on the boards of Discover Saint John and Enterprise Saint John.
